Integrating Vitalant Systems in Pittsburgh and Cleveland

As a nationwide network, Vitalant is focused on providing vitally needed blood products to patients coast to coast. To provide the best possible service for our hospital and healthcare partners, we continue to standardize our computer systems and processes in all regions across the country. The standardization effort began in 2020 and includes improvements on how hospital partners order, receive and manage blood products with Vitalant. About 80% of the standardization effort is complete.

The next Vitalant locations to come up on enterprise software applications are Pittsburgh and Cleveland in May 2023. The final location, New Jersey, will begin the process following Pittsburgh and Cleveland.
